We want everyone to be able to visit and be inspired by an Accessible Peak District.
Accessible places
Find out about Accessible Castleton, our first accessible village.
Access guides are available for all our visitor and cycle hire centres.
Our car parks, provide dedicated disabled parking bays and free parking for Blue Badge holders.
Disabled facilities are available at our toilets. There is a changing space at Torside.
Accessible routes
Miles without Stiles routes are suitable for those who are less mobile, disabled, or have young children. We have 20 routes across the national park and are working on 20 more.
Accessible activities
Our bike and tramper hire centres provide a range of equipment for all abilities.
We have all-terrain wheelchairs free to borrow at our visitor and cycle hire centres.

Community Transport Schemes operate trips and tours and other services in and around the Peak District. These are operated with fully accessible 16-seat vehicles which can accommodate wheelchair passengers and are available to elderly and/or disabled residents and visitors to the area:
