Castleton War Memorial

The Parish Council, working with Conservation Officers, had identified some years previously improvements that they wanted to see to this important monument. A grant from Community Planning finally enabled these works to take place which included gentle ‘steam’ cleaning of the stone, repairing the seating, repainting of the ornamental chain link and returfing.
