Cowclose Farm is a 200 year old farmhouse and Cowclose Barn has recently been converted into two holiday cottages – The Swallows and The Robins. The business is run in as environmentally friendly way as possible, growing produce in the garden, using chemical free cleaning and toiletries and minimising energy use. They are keen to preserve and enhance the land surrounding their property, through restoring traditional dry stone walls, and also encourage wildlife through bird feeders, a pond and ‘wild areas’.

Sleeping up to six guests, Denewood is a charmingly renovated 1930s property offering luxury en suite accommodation in the heart of the Peak District. We favour local businesses, and are always looking for ways to reduce our impact on the environment without impacting on our quality. Children and well behaved dogs welcome.
