Repair and restoration of historic buildings

At the National Park Authority we offer advice and financial support to help people repair, restore and maintain historic buildings such as houses, outbuildings, barns and industrial properties.

There are thousands of historic buildings in the Peak District National Park, including 2,900 listed buildings and many unlisted buildings in Conservation Areas.

Listed buildings that are in such a poor state of repair that their future is threatened are identified on the Buildings at Risk register.

By caring for these buildings, owners can make a crucial contribution to the area.
