Developing Your Access Networks

7 - 8 March 2011

A new course to help access staff develop integrated access and PROW networks that enhance opportunities for all users in the countryside and urban greenspace.

Learn to

  • Implement improvements highlighted in your Rights of Way Improvement Plan
  • Constructively engage with local communities and other stakeholders to encourage support and address concerns;
  • Use the whole range of mechanisms available to access managers to ‘fill the gaps’ in your access networks;
  • Prioritise work to make best use of resources available;
  • Consider a wide range of funding opportunities for improvements;
  • Manage conservation and access issues on sensitive sites.
