Sustainable Water Management – Go With the Flow

How you can manage surface water better at source, and what you need to know about new legislation that came into play in 2010 - explores management of water in the UK, climate change impacts and practical techniques.

Learn to:

  • Appreciate how water is currently managed in the UK, and the impact of climate change, including increased flood risk, changing legislation and the need for better water catchment management.
  • Identify the opportunities and solutions with existing parks and green infrastructure projects, through case studies and examples such as Sustainable Urban Drainage Schemes (SUDS).
  • Manage water more sustainably on your land and turn the challenges presented by a wetter climate into opportunities for wildlife and recreation.
