Learning awards

The Learning and Discovery Team offer a combination of knowledge and experience of environmental education and professional learning, with fantastic outdoor and indoor facilities. This means we can provide a unique opportunity and experience for groups looking for a different challenge.

Working with diverse groups of young people, families and communities, the Learning and Discovery Team are aware that we will need to ensure we build a programme that will suit the needs of your group. We are keen to work in partnership with you to do this.

We can deliver these at our centres close to Sheffield and Manchester or from a range of residential facilities across the National Park.

By tailoring our programmes and activities we can develop bespoke programmes that meet your outcomes whether they are related to:

  • Confidence building for young people, conflict resolution for community groups
  • Team building for family groups

Our activities can include:

  • Pond Dipping
  • Earth Walks
  • Environmental Art
  • Survival Skills
  • Exploring the world of Boggarts!
  • Other sensory activities
