Consultation period ended Friday 12 January 2018

Our draft Peak District National Park Transport Design Guide Supplementary Planning Document provides additional detail to our adopted Core Strategy Policy T3 Design of infrastructure and the emerging Development Management Policy DMT2 Access and design criteria. The purpose of the document is to guide those who develop transport infrastructure within the National Park to have regard to the character and appearance of the National Park whilst designing their schemes. The Transport Design Guide covers large scale strategic transport schemes; road safety and traffic management schemes; and the design of transport within housing or other developments.
