Approximate Extent – Unknown
Distribution – Across the Peak District, but more frequent in the White Peak
Opportunities and Threats
Extent - Very limited. Generally small and associated with built-up areas.
Condition – Unknown, but interest likely to be inherently limited compared to other areas nationally. Some amenity value but again probably limited given extent of other accessible “green space” in the area.
Connectivity - Probably very low.
Climate change risks – No significant risks identified.
Priorities
Generally low inherent value compared with extent of high quality habitats mean this habitat is generally a low priority for action in the Peak District.
