How we work to look after the National Park, conservation, ranger services, biodiversity and policies.
Members of the Authority are subject to a Code of Conduct (30KB)
. To request a printed copy, phone us on 01629 816361 or in writing or in person at Peak District National Park Authority, Aldern House, Baslow Road, Bakewell, Derbyshire, DE45 1AE.
You can make a complaint against a Member of the Authority if you think he or she has failed to comply with the Code of Conduct.
Previously complaints against Members were made direct to the Standards Board for England. However the system changed in May 2008 and you should now make your complaint direct to the Authority’s Standards Committee. Your complaint will then be dealt with following statutory procedures.
What happens when a complaint is received
Details of how to make a complaint are given in our explanatory form (38KB)
. This includes the complaints form. To request a printed copy contact Customer Service using the contact details listed above.
Complaints must be made in writing but can be submitted by email or fax.
If you need any help in completing the form please contact the Democratic Services Manager, Peak District National Park Authority, Aldern House, Baslow Road, Bakewell, Derbyshire, DE45 1AE, email democraticservices@peakdistrict.gov.uk or telephone 01629 816344.
