How we work to look after the National Park, conservation, ranger services, biodiversity and policies.
The National Park Management Plan is the most important document for the national park and tells everyone what the key issues are and how they are going to be tackled – both now and in the future.
It is not the Peak District National Park Authority’s plan. It has been developed by a wide range of partners and groups. All organisations in the national park should own the plan and many of the actions within it.
The plan sets out the special qualities of the Peak District National Park and how we can all work together to deliver national park purposes in ways that also help support the local economy and local communities.
A set of targets and indicators are used to measure if actions are happening on the ground.
A new dedicated micro-site has been developed to promote our latest National Park Management Plan so please follow either of the links below to see it.
