Moors for the Future is a multi agency partnership comprising landowners, statutory Agencies, NGOs working primarily within the Moorlands within and adjacent to the Peak District National Park.The programme originated from a Heritage Lottery Fund project and has developed into a wide-ranging and complex programme of work. From its inception in 2003, it has grown to become one of the largest landscape-scale moorland restoration projects currently being delivered in the UK.
We would like to engage a consultant to build on the huge success of this significant programme of work which is administered by the Peak District National Park Authority and delivered with partners. Specifically, we would like consultants to comprehensively review the structure, working practices, resources and support systems of programme. This would be conducted in relation to the current business model and possible options for the future, and in context of the wider National Park Authority and its partners.
Suitable candidates are invited to submit proposals together with likely costs to Sean.prendergast@peakdistrict.gov.uk. They should also include appropriate qualifications and recent examples of relevant experience.
The deadline for submissions is Thursday 3 May 2012.

Tender returns are invited for the Supply, Delivery and Broadcast of Sphagnum Propagules in the Peak District and South Pennines for the period 2012-2015. The closing date for submission of tenders is 12 noon on Monday 7 May 2012.
