Monsal Trail : Essential lighting works is taking place from Mon 13 May for five weeks. Tunnels will remain open but light levels may be lower than usual. Please obey signs and take care when passing the works.

A Family Fun Day of Activity & Adventure at Castleton Visitor Centre

Make sure you’ve marked Sunday 4 August on your calendar for a day of family fun as we celebrate National Park’s Week 2013.

Choose from a range of free family fun activities and demonstrations for all ages & abilities. Arts & crafts, local produce, demonstrations & activities. Drystone walling, special bicycles, National Park ranger guided walk, countryside maintenance team, volunteers and moorland fire fighting displays.
