Wiggle Tour of the Peak from 9am
Choose from three route options of 98, 65 or 47 miles on the challenging Wiggle Tour of the Peak, the biggest sportive in the Peak District, and one of the toughest in Britain.

Saturday 15 June
Women on Wheels: Cycles Cotton & Cheese! 11am - 4.30pm approx.
12 miles. A leisurely Ranger led cycle ride through parts of the White Peak and South West Peak landscapes aiming to build confidence and fitness of female riders. Enjoy a rest stop in a characteristic Peak District village where refreshments can be purchased.
Suitable for occasional or regular cyclists who are comfortable riding on quiet roads (but not beginners). Undulating with a few short steep climbs. Meet Parsley Hay Cycle Hire. GR: SK1464 6376. PC Sk17 0DG. Bring money for car park (bike hire if need or bring own bike & helmet) and refreshments, suitable clothing & footwear. Park at Parsley Hay cycle hire car park.

Endurance Fuel Peak Epic sportive - 4000m Of Ascent
The longest route weaves it’s way across the length and breadth of the Peak District on small country lanes passing over 14 categorised climbs (over 20 actual climbs) including Longstone Edge, Higger Tor, the infamous Winnats Pass at Castleton plus the Cat and Fiddle nr Buxton. Once the riders reach the finish they will have ascended 4000 metres in just 162km (100 miles). The equivalent of 3 times up Ben Nevis.
There two other routes on offer, the Medium route is 100km and 2100m and the mini route of 60km and 1200m of climbing. All rides starts and finish at Bakewell Agricultural Business Centre.

Peak District 100 bike ride
This Action Medical Research event offers cyclists a choice of 37, 70 or 104 miles from the HSBC sports ground in Dore, Sheffield.
The route takes in stunning scenery in the Peak District national park and challenging climbs, including Mama Nick and Froggatt are included on some of the routes.

Holme Moss sportive
Hilly 85 mile and 45 Mile Sportive taking in the epic climb of Holme Moss which will feature in the 2014 Tour de France
Starting at the Poynton Leisure Centre the riders will set off on a 85 mile route through the Peak District taking in the climbs of Chunal, Holmes Moss, Gamesly before heading back towards Poynton through Whalley Bridge then over the Brick Works back to finish. We have also got a shorter but still challenging 45 mile route. Both rides have been designed by experienced local club cyclists.
It will be a great day out in the saddle with some stunning scenery, challenging climbs, fast descents and picturesque villages.

Tissington Trail-riders: Family Cycle ride 1 - 5pm
4 miles. A gentle Ranger led cycle along the Tissington Trail to Hartington Station and back with some activities aimed at families with children 6-12yrs. Gentle incline on return to Parsley Hay.
Meet Parsley Hay Cycle Hire centre. From the A515 Buxton to Ashbourne Road turn off approx 1.5 miles north of the Hartington turn off at the road sign for Parsley Hay cycle hire, public car park & High Peak Trail. Peak District festival of cycling

Beyond the Monsal Trail: A guided cycle ride from Millers Dale Station
Distance: 12-15 miles (exact distance will be decided on the day based on conditions and group size / ability)
Minimum age of 10+ (as some on road sections) and max of 10 participants.
This guided cycle ride is being organised and led by the Peak District National Park Ranger Service.
The route will include a section of the Monsal Trail, country lanes and minor roads.
There are several steep ascents and descents on minor roads, so the route is SUITABLE FOR COMPETENT and EXPERIENCED RIDERS ONLY. There will be a number of stops en-route to enjoy the views, as well as to learn more about the landscape and history of this beautiful area.
The ride will start along the Monsal trail following the route of the former railway line, including 2 disused tunnels (recently re-opened: now lit and surfaced). We will then climb to the villages of Cressbrook and Litton, before continuing on to Tideswell and Wormhill, before returning to Millers Dale.

12 miles. A leisurely cycle ride through part of the White Peak landscape with stunning views of the Dove Valley and taking in parts of Dove dale, the Tissington Trail and the national cycle network.

Saddle up with the stars - Out Of The Saddle - Autumn Strines Challenge
Ride with pros Dean and Russ Downing. The Downings’ annual group ride will take in some of the region‘s most stunning views as it follows probably the most well-worn twists, turns and climbs around the Strines reservoirs, on a personally guided tour of the brothers’ favourite local training routes.
There will be two, fully signed routes on the day – a 50km and a 100km – and both will start and finish at Baldwins Omega, Sheffield, followed by one of our (now legendary) pasta parties and complimentary bottle of Peroni for all riders.
