Matlock Triathlon - the tri for everyone!
Arc Leisure centre, Matlock
The event will begin early in the morning with a 400m swim in the pool at Arc Leisure, then an 11 mile cycle down the Derwent Valley and up through Lea and Tansley and a 3 mile rural run to finish. With a £10 entry fee and a friendly atmosphere last year's race had almost 200 participants! All abilities are welcomed and this event is ideal for 1st time triathletes.

British Red Cross Peak District Walk - 9.30am - 5pm
Join the British Red Cross for a 12-mile fund-raising walk along a section of the Pennine Way with breathtaking views. Registration fee: £10. Suggested sponsorship target: £75.
Fitness: you need to be reasonably fit and up for the challenge. Age restrictions: walkers under the age of 18 will need parental consent and if under 16 will also need to be accompanied by an adult .
