Roger is currently helping to develop Peak District Breaks, a group of accommodation providers located between Dovedale and the Manifold Valley.

Peak District Fine Foods - 'high quality not high street' - is a new business set up by Ruth Dennett to deliver the highest quality, locally produced food and drink available from within the Peak District. Peak District Fine Foods offers four selections of local produce hampers and is now branching out and offering the same high quality local produce through a 'direct to your door' delivery service.

Ruth said: "At Peak District Fine Foods we go to great lengths to source all our products from within the Peak District, where this is not possible we carefully select products from the best local suppliers. We aim to bring back a local feel to what's served at the dinner table.

"Some villages have lost their local store leaving residents no choice but to travel to obtain their weekly provisions. Peak District Fine Foods brings back that local feel to what you serve at your dining table and what's more we can deliver it to your door."

Wherever possible Ruth sources products from EQM award holders and presents their produce in her selections. Alternatively customers can create their own selections. These include:
* Butter, milk and creams from Peak District Dairy, Tideswell (EQM Award Holder)
* Honey from Daisybank Apiaries, Longnor (EQM Award Holder)
* Choice cuts and ready meals from Dovedale Traditional Beef, Longnor (EQM Award Holder).

Ruth added: "Why not give us a try and see the difference in quality for yourself, experience food like it used to taste before additives and preservatives were used to excess. On offer is produce from organic to rare breed products, from dairy and meat to local wine, from bakery to vegetables. It's as good as having a farmers' market come to you."

Ruth is working with the Peak District Foods Group to establish a delivery system for their members.
