WILL THE YOLK BE ON YOU IN THE MACCLESFIELD FOREST THIS EASTER?!
Fun and games
are the order of the day this Easter with a great fun-packed
eggs-travaganza at Macclesfield Forest!
National Park rangers and United Utilities have organised the annual egg painting, rolling and bunny hunt day to take place on Sunday 11 April 2004.
Area ranger, Hazel Winder, said, "We want people to come along to the Forest Yard, Macclesfield Forest any time between 11.00am and 3.00pm and join the National Park rangers in egg painting, egg rolling and bunny hunting. Don't forget to bring your own hard-boiled eggs!"
The not-to-be-missed egg rolling competition takes place at 12.30 pm and 2.30 pm.
The event is free and is suitable for all the family. Children must be accompanied by an adult.
People are advised to bring a packed lunch and warm drink and wear suitable outdoor clothing and stout footwear.
For further details about this event or other activities throughout the year, contact ranger Hazel Winder or Paul Wetton on 01260 252832.
