Keep up-to-date with the latest National Park news…
The latest edition of ‘Parklife’ – the community newsletter for residents of the Peak District National Park – is out now.
The newsletter, which is distributed to all households within the National Park twice a year, in July and January, aims to keep local communities in touch with the key issues facing the future of the Park.
This latest edition features updates on quarrying and transport issues, along with local conservation news and information about grants and advice for local businesses and community schemes.
Parklife, which is published by the Peak District National Park Authority, also includes a handy list of phone numbers for information centres and Authority members.
And in response to feedback from the first edition, a leaflet detailing the Authority's free guided walks is also included.
The newsletter is being posted out to all National Park households and copies will be distributed through libraries and information centres around the Peak District. The publication is available on audio tape for people with vision impairments and can also be viewed on the National Park Authority's website at www.peakdistrict.gov.uk/parklife
Parklife was recently shortlisted in the national Local Government Communications awards of the country's best local authority community newsletter.
