Out-of-hours chance to meet planners
Peak District National Park planners are holding an evening advice surgery for people who cannot visit in normal office hours.
The surgery is on Wednesday March 5 from 5pm to 7.30pm at the Authority’s headquarters, Aldern House, Baslow Road, Bakewell, DE45 1AE. Bookings are essential – telephone 01629 816200.
This is the latest in a series of evening sessions held by national park planners to offer a more user-friendly service. Residents get one-to-one guidance on planning applications or problems, including extensions, alterations, renewable energy schemes or conversions.
Planning committee chair Barbara Wilson said: “It’s important that people get the answers they need before sending in a planning application, saving everyone time and money. Planning is key to protecting the special character of the national park, and we want to help people to get it right.”
