Cut costs and save energy – free event for Peak businesses

Peak District businesses are invited to a free networking event to learn how to run their operations more efficiently, reduce energy bills and help the environment.
Business Peak District is hosting the half-day event on Thursday November 7 at Matlock Football Club in Causeway Lane.
Speakers include Richard Tarbatt, finance director of Matlock firm William Twigg Ltd, Simon Bellamy from the Royal Bank of Scotland, Jacob Johnson from The Renewables Shop and Faith Johnson from the Peak District Environmental Quality Mark.
Peak District National Park rural business adviser Lindsay Allen said; "The event will be packed with helpful information, tips and advice on reviewing your budgets and outgoings, dealing with the bank, renewable technology and greening your operations – all of which could save you money.
"It will also be an opportunity to meet other local business people, share experience and ideas, and to network."
The event is at Matlock Football Club (postcode DE4 3AR) from 9.30am to 12noon on November 7. Booking is essential by Tuesday November 5 on http://bit.ly/bpd7Nov . Attendance is free but places are limited.
Business Peak District is a partnership of local businesses, the Peak District National Park Authority, Derbyshire Dales District Council, High Peak Borough Council and Staffordshire Moorlands District Council.
