Christmas shoppers and visitors to Bakewell this weekend (Saturday November 30 and Sunday December 1) have a special opportunity to meet some of the UK's top landscape and wildlife photographers.
The photographers will be on hand in the Peak District Photography Gallery, at Bakewell visitor centre, to talk about their work.
The gallery features the work of award-winning photographers Ian Daisley, Graham Dunn, Karen Frenkel, Chris Gilbert and Alex Hyde.
On Saturday November 30, Graham Dunn will be available in the morning for a chat and Chris Gilbert will be there in the afternoon. On Sunday December 1, Karen Frenkel will be there in the morning and Ian Daisley in the afternoon.
Information on the gallery and the photographers can be seen at www.peakgallery.co.uk
Sales of photographs from the gallery generate income for the Peak District National Park Authority. Bakewell visitor centre also showcases the work of the National Park's finest artists and craftspeople and the Authority receives a share of profits from sales.
Also on display in the visitor centre during November and December is the work of junior amateur photographers from Crich Carr Primary School, Crich, following photographic tuition and inspiration from Alex Hyde, Ian Daisley and Graham Dunn.
The display of images taken by the year five and six pupils during a day of photography at Padley Gorge, Burbage Brook and Owler Tor, gives people the opportunity to see the national park through their eyes.
Housed in the historic Old Market Hall, the fully accessible gallery and visitor centre are open every day, except Christmas Day and Boxing Day.
