Bradwell Parish Council has taken another step towards creating a neighbourhood plan for the parish.
The parish council submitted its draft proposal to the Peak District National Park Authority in January.
Members of the planning committee determined that the plan and supporting documents complies with the criteria for a neighbourhood plan.
People who live, work, or carry on business in the neighbourhood area – the whole of Bradwell parish – are now invited to make comments about the draft plan by Thursday April 30.
Comments can be emailed to email@example.com or posted to Adele Metcalfe, Peak District National Park Authority, Aldern House, Baslow Road, Bakewell, DE45 1AE.
The draft plan can be viewed at the National Park Authority’s main office (Aldern House, Baslow Road, Bakewell,) from 8.45am to 5pm Monday to Friday, and online.
People making representations about Bradwell Neighbourhood Plan can ask to be notified of the Authority’s decision to make or refuse the plan.
Neighbourhood plans were introduced in 2011 under the Localism Act. They are community-led plans that can carry legal weight and be adopted by the local planning authority.
