The Procurement Act 2023 which came into force on 24 February 2025, introduces new procurement rules for public bodies in England, Wales and Northern Ireland.  An enhanced Find a Tender service (FTS) was launched, providing a central digital platform for public procurement.

The Contracts Finder service will retain historic contract information regarding awards made by the Authority, and  information on those contracts that have yet to be awarded and were registered on the platform before 24 February 2025

'Morridge Hill Country' Habitat Restoration Tender

Morridge Hill Country (MHC) is one of DEFRA's Landscape Recovery Projects and is located within the South West Peak of the Peak District National Park. It is an ambitious landscape scale project with nature recovery at its heard. Whilst the area is already relatively biodiverse compared to other parts of the country, there are significant opportunities here to restore ecosystems and increase resilience to change, and in doing so providing many additional benefits. As part of the 20-30 year vision for MHC we are exploring opportunities to:

• diversify currently species-poor and depleted vegetation, including grasslands, mires, heaths etc.
• restore a more natural hydrologically functioning landscape

We are therefore seeking an updated vegetation survey of the extent and condition on the in-bye land across c.865ha together with hydrological study and associated field survey. These surveys will inform recommendations for habitat restoration accorss the landscape (Opportunity mapping reports).

Trentabank Centre refurbishment

The National Park Authority are looking for a suitably qualified and experienced contractor to undertake refurbishment works to a single storey visitor centre.

Proposed works comprise reconfiguration of part the visitor centre building in order to upgrade the Male and Female public WCs and provide a new Changing Place facility. The works include associated MEP alterations, replacement/repositioning of external door sets, internal layout alterations, below ground drainage alterations and complete fit out of public WC areas.

Settlement Analysis and Capacity Assessment

The Peak District National Park Authority (PDNPA) is seeking a multi-disciplinary consultancy (with specialists in landscape, cultural heritage, planning and ecology) to support us, in the review of the Local Plan, to understand the capacity for development in 23 key settlements within the context of our first purpose, which is to conserve and enhance the Peak District National Park's landscape, wildlife and cultural heritage. The project comprises a desk-based analysis, site assessments (including LVIA) and settlement capacity scoring with corresponding outputs at each stage. The final document will be a map (GIS) and text-based settlement landscape sensitivity and capacty assessment for each settlement.

Retail Management and Merchandising Services for the Peak District National Park Authority

The Peak District National Park Authority (PDNPA) seeks to engage a retail management and merchandising service provider to manage and oversee retail operations across multiple locations within the Peak District National Park. The scope of this tender focuses on the efficient and effective management of retail provisions, with a particular emphasis on environmental sustainability, product selection, stock management, distribution, and customer experience.

The successful bidder will be expected to contribute to the growth and development of the retail sector within the PDNPA services, ensuring alignment with the area's ethos, sustainability goals, and business objectives, along with the wider PDNPA management plan.

3 year lease for provision of a refreshment service at Tissington Station

The Peak District National Park Authority wishes to provide for visitors to Tissington Station and Tissington Trail, a refreshment service that supports the local economy in a variety of ways.

The Tissington Trail is a very popular multi-user recreational trail which extends for 13 miles from Mapleton Lane, Ashbourne to Parsley Hay. The trail is used by cyclists, walkers and horse riders and is popular with locals and tourists.

Tissington car park is situated on the Tissington Trail, just outside Tissington village and provides a popular focus for visitors to this area of the White Peak. There are parking spaces for around 60 cars and picnic table facilities. The car park is popular for visitors to the trail and village of Tissington itself and can cater for up to 300 visitors in any one day over the high period.

We want to ensure that our visitors have a great experience with us and we ask that our Refreshment Rooms meet the same standards to keep all uses safe and to protect the special places we look after.

Tenders are invited for the sale of refreshments during the hours of daylight only at the Refreshment Rooms, Tissington Station. The succesful tenderer will be offered a lease from 1st April 2025 until 31 March 2028 providing that the Authority is satisfied with regard to standards of provision and presentation, to be monitored through spot checks conducted by the Authority and reviewed periodically at meetings between representatives of the Authority and the lessee compliance with the conditions of the lease during this term.

SEC: PDNPA/JAN 2025

The Authority is looking to engage a security system maintenance company to provide a full maintenance package for fire and intruder alarm systems along with access control and CCTV maintenance. The contract term will be for 3 years (with an option on mutual agreement to extend for 1 year).
