Draft Plan Consultation (Regulation 19)
The Authority is carrying out a 'Regulation 19' consultation on the Peak District National Park Local Plan (Publication Draft) 2026-2045.
This consultation is the final chance for any individual, business or organisation to express their views on whether the Plan meets legal requirements and the 'tests of soundness' before it is submitted for examination by a Planning Inspector.
The consultation period is 9:00 am on Monday 27 July to 11.59pm on Sunday 20 September.

How to view the documents

The Draft Plan, Policies Map and Sustainability Appraisal are also available to view in hard copy at:
- the National Park Headquarters in Bakewell (address below).
- other local authority offices and libraries in, adjoining and close to the National Park. See Statement of Representations Procedure and Guidance Note for locations and addresses.
How to make representations
Representations must be made on the Representation Form and received within the date and time set out above.
