Cracken Edge is a large disused stone slate quarry which lies in the north west of the Peak District, at the very edge of the National Park. This is in the High Peak area of the region, within the 'Dark Peak'.

This demo page shows an embedded version of the storymap to help assess whether having dedicated pages for each "story" communicates the core messaging for the location more effectlvely. Having a dedicated page allows you to introduce the story, categorise it with metadata and link to the page from other places on hte website, all increasing its visiblity to search engines and making it more likely people will read the information on "this" website rather than going straight out to Arc.  It would also allow us to share other key messages such as Peak District Proud, embed directions and maps to start points etc. should we want people to explore the areas.

This  page is live but hidden, so doesn't need you to log into see it and  shouldn't show in naviation or search engine indexes, but should be deleted if not required.
