Font Awesome

Font Awesome is an alternative to using Noun Project png icons. It's lighter weight with more control over font size, weight and style, but possibly less icon choice.

Basic options

Below are examples copied from the guides on the Font Awesome website with some basic local styling.

fal=light, far=regular, fad-duotone and fas=solid. Icons can also be rotated. flipped and set to spin and rotate with 8 steps if needed (works best for spinners), quoted left or right (with and without a border) and stacked - this is going to be really handy!
