Easy access camping pod

Located adjacent to a wooded stream our easy access camping pod gives opportunities for enjoying the sights and sounds of nature from its front door whilst also being close to the facilities of the campsite building.

We have called it Derwent.

The pod has a small heater, an electric socket and electric light. It comes equipped with a height adjustable electric profile bed and an additional single mattress on the floor. We also have a hoist and shower chair/commode on site which can be used in the pod.

There is room for an additional child/small adult on a Karrimat which can be hired from the campsite. Outside there is a picnic table with access for a wheelchair.

A car can be parked adjacent to the pod and there is direct access on a path with a shallow slope to the campsite building which includes an easy access washroom. The pod is close to one of the camping areas so it can be used in conjunction with a tent as part of a family or small group camping holiday.

Dreamboat provides an ideal ‘get away from it all’ campsite experience for anyone needing or appreciating the comfort of a raised bed and mattress.

The Long Causeway less than a mile away provides opportunities for fantastic views and a wilderness experience accessible to off-road wheelchairs and buggies.

Up to two dogs are allowed in this pod (for a small extra charge) if pre-booked as an EXTRA when making the online booking.
