The General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the UK Data Protection Act are sets of rules governing the privacy and security of personal data.  The GDPR is laid down by the European Commission and makes major changes to all of Europe's privacy laws and replaces the Data Protection Directive from 1995.  It has been designed to give power back to citizens over how their data is processed and to simplify the regulatory environment. The Data Protection Act 2018 is the UK’s implementation of the GDPR.

Our Privacy Notice explains how we use your personal data, describes the categories of personal data we process and for what purposes.  We are committed to collecting and using such data fairly and in accordance with the requirements of the GDPR.

Our Data Protection Policy implements the requirements GDPR. It ensures that everyone handling personal data is fully aware of the requirements and acts in accordance with data protection procedures and that we properly respect the rights of data subjects

You can request a copy of the personal data we hold about you.  This is known as a subject access request.  There is no charge for this and whilst there is no requirement for you to complete a form to make the request, doing so would help us to locate the information and respond more quickly.
