Further Information

Derbyshire County Council’s White Hall Outdoor Education Centre is a centre of excellence in outdoor education. We run high quality courses tailored to meet a wide range of needs while also giving great value for money. Situated high on the moors between Buxton and Whaley Bridge, you can walk onto the moors from the door; you have gritstone climbing edges within a few miles and bridleways that run right past our grounds.

White Hall was the first local education authority outdoor education centre, welcoming young people for the first time in 1951. Today White Hall remains the warm welcoming house on the hill where visitors can have life-changing experiences, eat well, sleep well and have fun!
