Research & Monitoring Officer - Moors for the Future Partnership
Salary Details: £21,589 to £23,836 per annum.
Fixed Term until 31st December 2021
37 hours per week

The Moors for the Future Partnership is currently running a programme of landscape scale projects that integrate ecological and hydrological monitoring in the Peak District and South Pennines. The general aim of the projects is to evidence the impacts of moorland management and restoration on moorland biodiversity, flood risk and multiple ecosystem services.

We are seeking a Research and Monitoring Officer to oversee the delivery of MFFP's programme of fieldwork that includes water sampling, water table measurements, data downloads and vegetation surveys.

The post holder will be responsible for coordinating and supervising Research & Monitoring Assistants and volunteers to deliver this fieldwork on time, budget and to a high quality.  They will also assist with this field data collection and additionally contribute to data entry, management, analysis and reporting.  There is also the considerable potential to support MFFP Science Project Managers in the wider delivery of MFFP's exciting Science Programme.
