Please note that County and District Councillors with our constituent local authorities are not able to take paid employment with the Peak District National Park Authority under Section 80 of the Local Government Act 1972. If you are invited for interview you will be asked to produce the original certificates for the qualifications recorded on your application which are relevant to the post. If not produced, you will not be able to commence employment.

All offers of appointment are subject to the following clearances:
- Satisfactory references (one of whom must be your current or last employer)
- Medical clearance
- Proof of eligibility to work in the UK
In addition, some posts require clearance from the Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS).
