Discover the Peak

Education visits

Discover a whole new landscape as you explore the Peak District National Park and notice the differences compared to your local area.

Experience climbing a hill and taking in a beautiful moorland view, discover what creatures live in our rivers and take part in a the skill of dry stone walling by making your own mini creation. Or perhaps you'd prefer to create an artwork based on your stunning surroundings? This program can be tailored to bring the National Park alive for your students in a way that fits your group.

This programme provides an immersive, cross-curricular introduction to the special qualities of the Peak District’s beautiful landscapes and allows children to access the benefits of connecting to nature.

It’s a great fit for a topic on National Parks while also promoting pupils’ health and wellbeing.
