Step outside the classroom and discover the mountains, moors and valleys of the Peak District National Park!

From windswept mountain plateaus and rugged rocky edges, to the sweeping moorland and deep valleys, the Peak District National Park is a landscape full of contrast, waiting to be explored on our Mountains and Valleys days.

This experience driven session will take your geographical knowledge into the real world, bringing classroom learning to life as you explore the interesting landscapes in your nearest national park. Throughout the day you’ll observe how the environment differs as you head uphill, discovering the physical and human features that influence the landscape.

With routes and landscapes shaped by the seasons and weather, each session offers a different opportunity to explore. Get your backpacks ready, walking boots on and let’s get out there and discover the Peaks!
