Peak District Explorers - Map Skills

On a multi-sensory journey pupils will be challenged to discover more about the landscape they are in. Through using, designing and exploring different maps and map skills, pupils will have a fun hands on day using different maps in the real world.

This programme is designed to encourage children to learn about the area, to develop observational skills, improve their spatial awareness and to learn about maps and their uses.

Suitable for: KS2 

Availability: Late February - November

Duration: 10:00 - 14:30
