Bradwell Neighbourhood Plan

Made by Peak District National Park Authority on 13 November 2015. Referendum result: 85% yes.

The Bradwell Parish Neighbourhood Plan 2015–2030 sets out planning policies for the parish, with a particular focus on securing affordable housing for local people and sustaining employment opportunities to keep Bradwell a living, working village rather than a second-home destination. It was prepared by Bradwell Parish Council, which went on to set up the Bradwell Community Land Trust to help deliver the plan's housing aims. Following a successful referendum in 2015, the Peak District National Park Authority formally made the plan on 13 November 2015. It now forms part of the statutory development plan and is used to help decide planning applications in the neighbourhood area.
