Chapel-en-le-Frith Neighbourhood Plan
Made by High Peak Borough Council on 5 August 2015 and Peak District National Park Authority on 7 August 2015. Referendum result: 96% yes.
The Chapel-en-le-Frith Neighbourhood Development Plan 2013–2028 sets out planning policies for the parish, covering land both inside and outside the Peak District National Park boundary. It was prepared by Chapel-en-le-Frith Parish Council, working with the volunteer group Chapel Vision, following extensive community consultation. Following a referendum on 16 July 2015, in which 96% of those voting supported the plan, it was formally made by the Peak District National Park Authority on 7 August 2015. It now forms part of the statutory development plan and is used to help decide planning applications in the neighbourhood area.
